Woop: A Chrome Extension for Web Page Communication
Woop is a Chrome extension developed by ustc.flyingfox that allows users to communicate with each other while viewing the same web pages. It functions as a commenting system that is automatically added to every page, enabling people to share their thoughts or engage in chat discussions.
To use Woop, users simply need to install the extension on their Chrome browser. Once installed, the Woop icon will appear on the browser toolbar. When visiting a web page with URLs starting with http or https, clicking the Woop icon will open a sidebar on the right-hand side of the screen. This sidebar serves as the platform for communication, providing users with a space to interact and share their perspectives.
